Born and raised in Zimbabwe, I was diagnosed with acute Leukaemia at the age of three. I was healed miraculously through prayer over the course of an Easter weekend, leading to the need for constant medical tests for several years afterwards to convince sceptical doctors.
I was active in the Assemblies of God church in Harare, as a drummer in the worship group, leading the Youth Group, serving as a deacon, elder, trustee and eventually, as pastor.
I left Zimbabwe in 2003 for the United Kingdom, where my family and I now live in the South of England.
I have certificates in Advanced Counselling and New Testament Jewish Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in Theology, emphasising hermeneutics.
My personal interests include history, archaeology, Theology (In the original sense of the word), and I have been known to dabble in Family History.
I am married, and have two adult children.
Yours, in Him,
Peter Dodd
